 ORDER NO 73/PPC

In supersession of all earlier orders in this regard, it is hereby ordered that the following regional DDGs in AIR will exercise/perform the powers/functions with immidiate effect :

1. All powers of the HOD under the delegation of Financial Power Rules, FR, SR and any other relevant rules within their respective regions.

2. Supervise the work of cadre controlling authorities in respect of zonal cadres within their regions.

3. Function as controlling officer for purpose of tour , leave etc.,in respect of Station Directors within their regions.

4. Approval of tour programmes in respect of officers other than Station Directors outside their respective states.

5. Inspection of Stations within their regions.

6. Approval of FPC or any major policy changes relating to programme for the Station within their regions .

7. Approval/ co-ordination of relay of programmes within a State/Zone.

8. Transfer and posting of all programme and adminstrative officers except Station Directors within their regions.

9. Declaration of any subordinate officer in any AIR Station within the region as Head of Office.

10. Compassionate appointment in Group-'D' post within the region.

11. Exercise all powers of appellate authority under CCS(CCA rules) in respect of those employees for which Station Directors are the appointing authority.

12. Co-ordinate, supervise and monitor commercial and marketing activities of all the Stations within their regions.

13. Subject to any internal delegation of powers issued by DDG concerned , the Regional DDGs in respect ofNorthern Region-II, Western Region-II and Eastern Region-II shall also be the overall incharge of Station Directors of AIR Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Calcutta respectively.

14. Perform any other function which may be assigned by DG/CEO from time to time.
